Meet Pinster Hastythreads

Pinster Hastythreads submitted by Devona Pinkoushis pattern is now available thru your local online stores and me of course...it goes with Jacque's Rosebud pressmold...and Pinster will reside in my new studio when finished...thank you for the 100's of names that were submited...

I am taking names for my newest pattern he is a dollmaker's muse...I used Jacque Uetz's Rosebud mold and created a new body/clothing pattern and he sits on a spool of thread that is a sewing container (the instructions are in the pattern for it too)...His hat is a pin cushion and he can hold scissors, thread and he has a wool patch on his vest for needles...I am taking names from now til midnight tomorrow night Tues US...I will announce the winner on Wed...thanks for taking a look and helping...email your names to innerchildslg@yahoo.com

Dollmaker's Muse...

Well now that I know who he is...he is sitting upon a spool of thread that is also a container which would make a great little sewing box...he is about 19"and how to make his spool of thread will be part of the pattern...tomorrow he gets dressed...and of course he needs a name...win a free pattern name him....

The last two days...

Jeff brought in an old mobil home to turn into my studio...it's been a long process to get it to where we are now...which is still horrid teehee...however I posted pictures from the other day...then this week I will post pics of it walls stripped...new windows and now we begin the part that starts to look pretty to see pics go to my picturetrail...

Rosebud naw but who????

Jeff was pouring Jacque's rosebud pressmolds and I had a vision...so I asked if I could a pattern using her mold...she said yes and so I'm making my new pattern (I know I said last one for the year...I couldn't help it) but so far I have the body designed and sewn...and cloth over the face...now for the fun part...well she will have arms just haven't turnned them yet...

and I'm gonna let yall name her and the name that is picked will get a free pattern...so keep watching...

Monday...

Well I'm going to mother's today for a play day with the grand girls...we are keeping both so that Em can get her ebay loaded...what fun...I will take pictures...and then tomorrow I will start working on my studio...so will do before and after pics...wohoooalso here is a canvas collage I did over the weekendit's called "make a wish"and it's at http://sherryicc.etsy.com

Playing with some new fabric

I got some of the Primatex with lycra from http://www.dharmatrading.comone of my favorite naughty places to shop...well when it arrived todayWOW it's so smooth...so I tried it on a cloth over clay face which is drying so that I will then share it...while waiting I tried a flat face with watercolor pencils...WOW I love it...it doesn't stretch too much so that it's hard to stuff...good pointthe pencils flow wonderfully...good pointI did a bit of needle sculpting...no puckers...another good point...wohoo so I thought I should share this face til the cloth over is finshed...

Well the Elf Meister is finished and ready to roll...wohooo and you know he was so much fun and he's so easy...I love when that happens...

Well I'm almost finished with my next pattern and pressmold and this will be the last til next year...wohoo but I just had to get him finished...he was gonna be a santa but he insisted he be the Elf Meister...he is a cone puppet...will post pictures tomorrow as he needs his face painted, hair and hat and he will be ready...I have the pattern all written up as I did as I went...he had lots of drying time...and Jeff said the mold will be ready on friday...so just a heads up to check back tomorrow...teehee

Well the pattern is written and off to the printer...she now has a body...I just have to share since she will be naked on the pattern front...but she will have hair...so i'm off to find her hair and then she can have her final picture taken for the pattern front...then of course I need to dress her since this will give you an idea of many how to dress yours...

Well the purse is finished and now I can't start my puppet in a cone Santa...yipppeee....

Well I was working on a purse to submit to the stampinton purse book...but I realize I'm not gonna make the deadline...however I am gonna donate it to a fund raiser we have on Saturday....but thought yall might like to see it...

Ready to roll again....

Well after a week of more or less rest...I'm ready to create...I am working on my catch up projects and I have a new elfin that is being born also...I had the pressmold ready when I went to Victoria BC so many of those girls have the mold for him and I promised a body to go with him soon...well he is coming to be...I'm off to sew his body as I did design it and can't wait for him to come to life...it feels good to be rested...oh my
